The Center for Genetic Medicine (CGM) offers its members a Travel Fellowship Award program that provides funding to PhD students and postdoctoral fellows to present the results of their genetics-related research at national or international scientific meetings. The awards are competitive, with approximately 25-30 percent of the applications funded after consideration by a Faculty Review Committee. There are three application cycles each academic year. At the end of the academic year in June, CGM fellowship award recipients are invited to present their work at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University's Annual Posters and Wine Session.
The next deadline to apply is March 7, 2008. No late applications
will be accepted after the deadline.
