Research Interests

The research interests of Sui Huang’s laboratory lie in the nuclear structure and function in high eukaryotic cells.

Presently, they are addressing the function of an hnRNP protein, PTB, using a mouse knock out model. Dr. Huang’s group is in the process of constructing knock out vector for this gene.

It is their long term goal to use genetic system to analyze nuclear components and their function.
