Core Facilities

State-of-the-art equipment, the latest technologies, and expert technical advice are available to researchers at Northwestern and other institutions in the Chicago metropolitan area through the CGM Core Facilities.




Genomics Core Facility- The Genomics Core at the Center for Genetic Medicine is a shared resource facility that provides genomics research related services to investigators at RHLCCC, Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University and external users. We provide services for gene expression profiling, SNP analysis, DNA extraction and DNA sequencing. Our goal is to facilitate the utilization of the state-of-the- art technologies in genomics research by NU and Non-NU researchers at a competitive price in a timely fashion.

Transgenic and Targeted Mutagenesis Core Facility
- The Transgenic and Targeted Mutagenesis Laboratory offers consultation and a number of transgenic-related services to biomedical researchers at Northwestern University, the Feinberg School of Medicine, and other affiliated institutions.
