The event drew approximately 115 members of the public and the Northwestern University community. |

Center for Genetic Medicine Launches NGS Core Facility
The Center for Genetic Medicine is pleased to announce the launch of the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Core Facility. The new core will provide NGS and related bioinformatics to researchers at Northwestern University and its affiliate institutions. The NGS Core offers a range of sequencing options, including RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, targeted resequencing, and de novo assembly, on the Illumina HiSeq and Roche 454 GS-FLX platforms. |
