Jonathan Jones, PhD

Professor of Cell and Molecular Biology
Feinberg School of Medicine

Research Interests:
The interaction of cells with elements in the extracellular matrix has a profound influence on cellular behavior. The molecular bases of such interactions are the focus of the research that is carried out in the Jones laboratory. It is our long-term goal to define the mechanisms underlying the way matrix elements, via their cell surface receptors, affect development and remodeling of normal and diseased tissue.
