Research Interests:
The research of David Winchester is primarily based on national patterns of care for cancer patients through the National Cancer Database of the American College of Surgeons and American Cancer Society for which he serves as principal investigator. Approximately 12 million cancer patients have enrolled of all sites since inception of the program in 1989. His database includes detailed information on family history. His clinical research is both observational and hypothesis-driven.
