Graduate Program in Genetic Counseling-
The Graduate Program in Genetic Counseling is an accredited masters degree
program that trains clinical genetic counselors. The 18-month program combines
course work, extensive clinical experience, and research projects that prepare
students for professional careers and American Board of Genetic Counseling
certification.
CGM Travel Fellowships - The Center's
fellowship program provides travel funds to selected PhD students and postdoctoral
fellows to present the results of their basic genetics research at national
or international scientific meetings.
Richard A. Scott, MD Lecture Series- This lecture
series brings a renowned scientist to campus each year to discuss recent developments
in genetics research. The Scott Lectures are funded through a bequest from
Dr. Richard A. Scott, who earned his medical degree at Northwestern in 1968.
